Allana was first a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering multiple knee injuries over time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played in her first union rugby game for women played by New South Wales and she stood out in the match that was played against Queensland. Allana is also adding radio into her arsenal, regularly appearing on the highest-rated Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana also holds a teaching diploma. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos player who played in the rugby league for a number of years was forced to close her career early because she injured her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in the same knee at the ages of 15 and 17, but following the third tear and the final tear, there was no hope for the 25-year-old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been forced to leave early from the squad after suffering a 4th left ACL tear.
